What is a Senior Day Program?

• Senior Day Programs provide socialization and offer many opportunities for older adults to participate in activities during the day in a caring friendly atmosphere.
• Senior Day Programs provide supportive staff, a secure group setting, supervision, meals, social work services, recreation, and companionship. 
• Senior Day Programs help older adults remain independent and remain at home
• Senior Day Programs give caregivers a break from the stress and burden of providing care for an older adult or a loved one
• Senior Day Programs enable family members and caregivers to remain employed
